We are the union of part-time faculty at Western Michigan University.

We are a member-driven labor union.

We depend on your support to fight for fair pay, benefits and working conditions.

The Professional Instructor Organization’s mission is to advocate for all part-time instructors at Western Michigan University. We do this by working with members & administrators to both uphold our contract and to provide opportunities for professional growth for part-time faculty. We embrace inclusivity and value service, transparency and community-building.
