Nora works as the American Federation of Teachers staff organizer for three local unions. Nora is the local staff for the Teaching Assistants Union #1729, the Professional Instructors Organization #1903 and Kalamazoo Valley Community College Federation of Teachers #2412. She previously worked with the Graduate Employee Union #6196 in East Lansing before transitioning back to Kalamazoo. She has a strong background of working on political campaigns. She has been with the West Michigan Higher education unions since October of 2015. She is the staff organizer but does contract enforcement, training and administrative work for the unions. Nora is a proud dues-paying member of her union, the Detroit Newspaper Guild (CWA #34022).
